OK, so im in a bit of a pickle! My Nikon D40x has somehow developed 5 or more (ones i dont yet know about) dead and stuck pixels since May, I don't know if its getting worse or because now i know they are there im sort of hunting for new ones in new photos i take!

I have contacted Nikon about it, they say send it in and it could cost me depending on they find my registration for 2 year warranty but it could also take 3-4 weeks and i don't have 3-4 weeks as i need my camera from 24th Sept onwards, plus i also know that as soon as i set foot back in Uni they will give me a night project. Now, i have some really nice white dead pixels and they show up nicely on black photos and then if i should need some printing... well i have a lot of photoshopping to do!.

So im kind of stuck with either forking out to buy a new camera that i was intending to buy not for another year and a half, or not having a camera for Uni for a while. Obviously being the person i am, i want the new camera now.

So iv come to the conclusion that i shall wait till i set foot back in Uni and talk to my tutors about it, weather or not im being completely over-dramatic and stupid, as sometimes they are not noticeable, im still pissed off at the amount of dead ones i have... aaaaand id like a D300... but we shall see.........I am pretty sure pixels hate me right now - Damn you pixels!!!

WOW! yes!!! I got Black Star yesterday!!, its not due out till 24th August according to the Black Star website, but I found out that a shop called "The Fragrance Shop" here in the UK already had it on their shelves soo I just had to get it!

Yes!, the portfolio!
I had tested it when it was beta, so i feel like iv had it aaaaaaaaagges, but i thought id tweak it slightly, I still feel it needs something, or maybe coz i think my work isnt good enough to be in something called a "portfolio" but anyway here it is!

Well... nothing really :/ im enjoying doing nothing, lol. I have 1 month left before Uni starts up again, i am dreading going back and i shouldn't, but i do. I would love to get away from this 'British Summer' which consists of cold, windy, rain, just horrid not even summer weather before i go back to the 'hell hole' that is Bradford and my course!

Anyway iv used this journal theme thing as i felt i needed a change, so i hope this works!, id try make one of my own which was better than my previous one but i cant really be bothered haha

I have had some news that i am going to be featured in a new iphone app that is in the making right now by A Clever Twist [link] It is an app that will feature some of the best iphone wallpapers, so it's all good! maybe i will randomly see someone with my wallpaper on their iphone...lol

Anyway enough of this pathetic pointless rant, i just wanted to try this journal theme thing out for once!.. ooh and one more thing i do have the deviant art portfolio up and running i tested it out when it was in beta testing and was pretty good, there are just some things that need changing before i start directing people to it!
